The most important part of Solomon's Temple is the Holy of Holies, and even Hebrew name itself, DBIR, Devir, reminds on the cubical nature of this oracle. The gematric value of Hebrew spelling of דביר, DBIR is 4+2+10+200 = 216 = 6x6x6 or a cube of 6. Another peculiarity is hidden in the measure of 20 cubits. Many qabalistic analysis of the Old Testament text prove that some messages and additional information are conveyed by means of gematria.
1Ki 6:20 And the oracle in the forepart [was] twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height thereof: and he overlaid it with pure gold; and [so] covered the altar [which was of] cedar.
The description of Solomon's Temple on the large scale is based on the module 20 cubits that is repeated throughout the composition, and the expression 20 cubits written in original is עשריםאמה, Esriym ammah. In accordance with the proposed theories of solar-phallic nature of the temple worship it is not strange that the gematric value for 20 cubits,
עשרים אמה, OShRIM AMH = (70+300+200+10+40) + (1+40+5) = 666.
Original text of the beginning of 1Ki 6:20 indicating words דביר, Devir, and עשרים אמה for 20 cubits
Besides the gematrical relations, the cubical composition of Devir immediately invokes a relation to Tiphareth, or Beauty in English. The sixth sephira is linked to the three Supernals, Binah, Chokmah, and Kether. There are three objects placed in Devir, two Kerubim and the Ark of the Covenant below their wings, three things symbolising the Three Supernals - two Kerubim for Chokmah and Binah, and the Ark of the Covenant between them for Kether.
