Pasti, Matteo de

Matteo de'Pasti was first recorded in Venice in 1441 as an illuminator working for Piero de' Medici. He also worked for Lionello d'Este, Duke of Ferrara (1444 -1446) and for Sigismondo Malatesta, Duke of Rimini (1449-1467/1468). In 1454 he was entrusted with responsibility for all architectural and artistic work within Rimini. He cooperated with Leon Baptista Alberti at building of Tempio Malatestiana.
